Moonshine Computer Services is a small, family owned business located in the northern panhandle of West Virginia. It was established in 1999 after the founder, Bill Ferguson, and his family decided to move north, from Florida, to a cooler climate and to be closer to family. Among their customers they number large corporations such as the Boeing Company and SAIC, as well as small businesses and home users. They mainly serve the Ohio Valley, but we have customers as far away as Florida.
Their services range from writing software in support of defense contracts to cleaning a virus from your home computer. We deal with lesser known operating systems, software, and hardware in addition to Microsoft Windows. Need a system administrator, but can’t afford one? they have solutions ranging from part time, on site, system administration to near full time remote monitoring and administration for a wide range of networks and operating systems. Linux, Solaris, SunOS, HP-UX, AIX, Xenix, OpenServer, Unixware, Irix, and Ultrix are just a few of the flavors of UNIX that they support. They’ve been using various versions of UNIX for more than 20 years.
